Check your e-mails, people!
Of course, if you're reading this blog, then you're probably not guilty of this.
I can't tell you how frustrating it is to find a movie you like out of all the submissions. Fight for it in the competition for precious screening times. Then have the filmmaker not answer e-mails.
Every year one or two movies don't get in the festival because they never got back to us.
Grrrr....

We live by E-mail! When you want something this bad, you find ways of being by your E-mail every minute of the day!

Now we're all freaking out that there's something wrong with our e-mail addresses or that you may have the wrong one, etc. Filmmaker minds are officially racing.
Does that mean that you've sent out the notifications?
Not yet, but getting close.

Now I'm paranoid about checking my e-mail and I didn't even send in a film this year!
Mark - that sounds like the subject of a 2-mintue 2-step to me.
Robert, I got an email from Leslee this morning. I replied back at around 11am. Just wanted to make sure you guys got it. Thanks again for considering my film and putting in all this hard work to make DWF what it is!
